Easy Pizza Dough

Home made pizza is so much tastier (and healthier!) than take-out. Here is an easy 10 minute pizza dough recipe I make atleast once a week.

Prep Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups AP flour
  • 1 tsp yeast (instant or active dry)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil/canola oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm water

Instructions

  1. Place the flour, yeast, sugar & salt into a stand mixer with kneading paddle.
  2. Slowly add oil and warm water  until dough forms a mass. (you will likely use 90% of the water)
  3. Knead in the stand mixer until dough is smooth & elastic (3-4mins).
  4. If mixing by hand or  a hand mixer, combine and form a dough and transfer it to a floured surface. Knead 60 turns by hand (1 minute).
  5. Cover and let rest for one hour or until dough is doubled in size.
  6. Go ahead and make your pizza or you may refrigerate the dough and use it the next day.
